The University of the Witwatersrand hosts the 50th Annual SAAB Conference
The University of the Witwatersrand proudly hosted the annual SAAB Conference in July 2025 under the expert leadership of Prof. Glynis Goodman-Cron. This milestone 50th conference was made even more memorable by its unique setting at the Wits Rural Campus, located just outside the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park.
Delegates enjoyed a rich programme of engaging talks and posters, complemented by the beautiful surroundings and vibrant birdlife of the Lowveld. The event also offered an excellent opportunity for researchers to connect, exchange ideas, and explore future collaborations.
The SAAB Council extends its sincere gratitude to Prof. Glynis Goodman-Cron and her dedicated team for organising such a memorable and successful conference.
