About the SAAB Annual Conference
The SAAB Annual Conference brings together researchers, students, academics, and industry partners from across South Africa and abroad.
At the conference participants can look forward to a rich programme of plenary talks, oral and poster sessions, workshops, symposia, social events, and a field trip.

Accommodation

Conference Registration Fees:
- Students: R2 950.
- Delegates: R3 550.
Please note that the registration cost does not include additional items such as the conference t-shirt, gala dinner, or other extras.
Invitation: Sustainability Symposium — 6 July 2026
The University of Mpumalanga will host a Sustainability Symposium on 6 July 2026. This event is independent of the SAAB Conference and has been organized as a separate opportunity for scholars, practitioners, and interested participants to engage with current developments in sustainability research and practice (Cost R300).
Theme: Youth Leadership and Sustainability for a Resilient Future: Biodiversity, Food Security, and Education
